The opponent for the second round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup has been determined: SK Austria Klagenfurt will face Austria’s record champion, SK Rapid Vienna, at Wörthersee Stadium. This was the result of today’s draw.
Following a successful cup debut with a 2-1 away win at ATUS Fliesen Koller Velden, a real highlight now awaits the Violets. Playing in front of their home crowd, they’ll have the chance to take on one of the most storied clubs in Austrian soccer and battle for a spot in the round of 16.
“Rapid presents a major challenge for us, but at the same time, it’s an exciting matchup for our team and our fans. We’re looking forward to an electric evening of soccer at Wörthersee Stadium,” says Zeljko Karajica.
