Following the 2-2 draw in Velden, the next task in the Regionalliga Süd is already waiting for SK Austria Klagenfurt. On Friday, the Violets host ATSV Wolfsberg at the Wörthersee Stadion. Kick-off is at 19:20.
Head coach Slobodan Grubor's side does not have much time between the two league games. It was only on Tuesday that the Violets were in action in Velden, where they twice took the lead after a goalless first half but ultimately had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
Now the focus turns back to their home ground, the Wörthersee Stadion. After six rounds, Austria sit on 13 points and go into matchday seven in second place in the table. The team have been unbeaten in their last four league matches, collecting ten points in the process.
On Friday, ATSV Wolfsberg are the opponents — and despite the way their season has gone so far, the Violets must not underestimate them under any circumstances. The side from the Lavanttal have three points after six rounds and most recently got on the board with a 0-0 draw against SV Donau Klagenfurt. However, their points tally so far should be no yardstick for Austria.
