On Sunday, two SK Austria Klagenfurt sides are in action. While the first team travel to SK Treibach in the Regionalliga Süd with kick-off at 16:30, the Amateurs get the violet football Sunday under way in the morning. At 11:00 they host SV Afritz 1975 on the artificial pitch at Sportpark Klagenfurt.

First team aiming to continue their run in Treibach

Austria travel to Treibach as league leaders. After eight matches played, the Violets are on 19 points and have not lost a league game since the defeat against their upcoming opponents. Most recently the side had to work hard against SV Donau, but came through the Klagenfurt derby with a 2-1 win.

SK Treibach are now an opponent with whom the Violets still have a score to settle. In the first meeting back in August, Austria led 1-0 at half-time at the Wörthersee Stadion, but after conceding three goals in the second half they had to accept a 1-3 defeat. To this day it remains Austria's only defeat of the current Regionalliga season.

After eight matches, SK Treibach sit third with 14 points. The team have been particularly strong on their own ground, where they are still unbeaten this season. Most recently, however, Treibach had to swallow a 0-3 defeat at VST Völkermarkt.

Head coach Slobodan Grubor expects a fitting response from his team: "Treibach are the only team we have lost to this season. We are already fired up for this match. I expect a top performance from our team. We will play for the three points, we want to produce a strong performance and drive home after 90 minutes with the three points." Amateurs host Afritz

The Amateurs are in action as early as 11:00. On matchday 9 of the Unterliga Mitte, SV Afritz 1975 visit the artificial pitch at Sportpark Klagenfurt.

For the young Austria side, it is all about getting back on the board after two recent defeats. After eight rounds the Amateurs are on four points, having most recently lost 0-3 away at ASKÖ Wölfnitz. Afritz have collected eight points so far and are therefore four points ahead of the Violets.
